Six Flags Fiesta Texas

Six Flags Fiesta Texas, previously known as Fiesta Texas, is an amusement park in La Cantera, San Antonio, Texas. It is operated and owned by Six Flags. The Park was constructed by the Gaylord Entertainment Company and opened on March 14, 1992, as the first commercial establishment located in the area in San Antonio. It was purchased by the Park and acquired from Six Flags theme park in 1996.

The park’s most famous icon is Scream which is visible from the entire park and outside. The vivid colors of Scream can be observed at the intersection of Loop 1604 as well as Interstate 10, as well as being miles away from Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Many other attractions in Scream are hidden because of the park’s proximity to rock walls. A few of the more prominent ride attractions are the SkyScreamer as well as the lift hill of the Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster, The Joker: Carnival of Chaos, Batman: The Ride, and at the very top, Poltergeist, the Crow’s Nest Ferris wheel on the Fiesta Bay Boardwalk, the lift hill of Superman: Krypton Coaster and the lift hill of Iron Rattler.
